How to use the Merge Word Documents
- Select or drop the Word (.docx) files, in the order you want them combined.
- Click Run to merge them.
- Download the combined .docx and open it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice.
How the Merge Word Documents works
The first document is used as the base. The body content of each following document, including text, tables and images, is appended after a page break, so every document starts on a new page.
The merged file uses the styles defined in the first document. Content from later files keeps its direct formatting, but custom styles that exist only in those files may look slightly different. Older .doc files aren't supported; save them as .docx first. To create a PDF of the result, use Word to PDF.
