Markdown to HTML
Convert Markdown to HTML source code, instantly in your browser.
How to use the Markdown to HTML
- Paste your Markdown.
- Click Run to convert it to HTML.
- Copy the HTML source into your web page, email template or CMS.
How the Markdown to HTML works
The converter parses your Markdown block by block (headings, paragraphs, lists, blockquotes, code blocks and tables) and then handles inline formatting such as bold, italic, links, images and inline code within each block. The output is semantic HTML with tags like <h2>, <ul>, <table> and <pre><code>, and no inline styles.
Special characters in your text are escaped, so the HTML is safe to paste into a page. To see the rendered result instead of the source, use Markdown Preview.
