Extract PDF Pages

Pull specific pages out of a PDF into a new, smaller PDF.

How to use the Extract PDF Pages

  1. Upload the PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to extract, using commas and ranges, for example 1-3,5,8.
  3. Click Run and download the new PDF containing just those pages.

How the Extract PDF Pages works

The tool parses your page list into individual page numbers, expanding ranges such as 1-3 into 1, 2 and 3, and checks each one exists in the document. It then copies those pages into a new PDF in the order you listed them.

Pages are copied as they are, so text, images, fonts and links are preserved exactly and nothing is re-rendered or compressed. If you want every page split into separate files instead, use Split PDF; to change the order of all pages, use Reorder PDF Pages.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF page extractor free?
Yes. Extract PDF pages at no cost, with no account required.
How does this differ from Split PDF?
Extract Pages pulls the pages you choose into a single new PDF. Split PDF instead cuts the whole document into several separate PDFs.
Can I extract a mix of single pages and ranges?
Yes, e.g. "1-3,5,8" extracts pages 1, 2, 3, 5, and 8 into one PDF, in that order.
