Name Wheel Spinner
Enter a list of names, spin the wheel, and see who the needle picks, instantly in your browser.
How to use the Name Wheel Spin
- Enter the names or options, one per line.
- Click Run to spin the wheel.
- Watch it slow down and stop; the name under the needle is the winner.
- To pick again without the same winner, remove that name and spin again.
How the Name Wheel Spin works
The wheel is divided into equal slices, one per name. Before it spins, the winning position is chosen with your browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, so every name has exactly the same chance. The wheel then animates several full rotations and eases to a stop on that slice.
Duplicate a name on several lines if you want to give it more chances. It works for any list: raffle entries, students, team members, restaurants or chores.
